Addressing the Muslims community to climax the Eid-al-Fitr annual Festival celebrations, the DCE underlined the need for the establishment of the zongo development ministry as promised by the government during the 2016 elections, adding that “the President’s vision was based on the determination of the government to begin a new development in the zongo communities across the country”.

"The budget allocated to the Ministry is going to be used for the transformation and acceleration of developmental projects in the Zongo Communities, which would help tackle infrastructural deficits in the various localities which governments have over the years neglected," he said.

The ministry, he added “is taking giant steps to employ teachers in the country to enhance the teaching and learning of Arabic in Muslims schools in the district.

He concluded by ceasing the occasion to express the President and Vice President’s felicitation to them and further begged Allah’s blessings on them.
