AFRAM PLAINS S: Ekyiamenfrom gets new teachers quarters
The Kwahu Afram Plains South District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr George Ofori has given the assurance that the Assembly would assist communities to solve the accommodation problem facing teachers in the district.

The DCE, who disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, stated that, the accommodation challenge was hampering effective teaching and learning especially in the rural communities.

He disclosed as part of efforts to improve the situation, assembly has constructed two separate 2-bed teachers quarters facility for the Ekyiamenfrom, a farming community in the district.



The project, which was financed through the District Assembly’s Common fund (DACF), is completed and ready for occupancy.

According to the DCE, a chunk of the Assembly's budget was pumped into education and advised parents in the area to reciprocate by sending their wards to school to benefit from the quality education, promised by the NPP government.
