The team also distilled choked gutters in Adum, Central market, Alabar, Asafo Interchange, Asafo Market, and VIP Terminal. Drains block by foreign materials were blown by firefighters for easy flow of water.

The minister for works and housing Lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea indicated that there will be a lot of rain and that if drains are not cleared the nation will record so many floods.

He called on the general public to voluntarily clean their environment so that when the rainfalls are very heavy it will have a good passage to where it belongs rather than destroying properties.

The Mayor of KMA, Osei Assibey Antwi commended the minister and advised citizenry not to dump refuse on the streets but rather dispose them into dustbins mounted by KMA at vantage location within the central business district.
