The facility is being funded from Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF).

Speaking at the sod cutting ceremony, Mr Agyekum noted that government is committed to providing the best possible facilities for children and young people to enhance their educational experiences and potentials.

He revealed that similar projects are currently ongoing in other communities as part of efforts by the government of fulfilling the promises it made to Ghanaians in the run-up to the 2016 general elections that it will improve education from basic to tertiary levels.

He advised the community to own the projects and to support the contractors in order to enable him execute the project on time to ensure its intended purpose.

He urged the people to rally behind the government and advised the contractors to speedup work on the facility but also ensure value for money.
