The Northern Regional Minister Hon.  Saeed Salifu before the voting,  told the ‘’Assembly to prioritize the development of the district in order to move the assembly forward by voting once and for all since they have the power to do so”.

Madam. Mariam Iddrisu expressed gratitude to the President and assembly members for the confidence they have reposed in him and promised to live to expectations in harnessing the resources of the assembly for the development of the district.

She called for unity and hard work in the delivery of their duties.

Other important dignitaries at the function were the Deputy northern regional minister Hon. Solomon Boar, Tamale Mayor Hon. Iddrisu Musah, MP for Sagnerigu constituency A.B Fuseini, traditional and religious leaders and all party executives.
