The Prophet who was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com at his Liberia champ Chapel in the Awutu Senya East District in the Central Region cautioned that Christian must abstain from such act to receive the Grace of God.

"Ghana today is becoming a nation where gamblers are taking over the nation, people see gambling as a normal thing that everyone is expected to in one way or another involve him or herself even in the church Pastors are busily preaching lotto than that of Jesus Christ" Prophet Emmanuel Okyere lamented.

The caretaker who doubled as the founder and General Overseer of the Church advised his colleague pastors using their pulpit to preach and give out lotto numbers to members to rather teach their members on how to make a worthy wealth guided by the word of God.

He ceased the opportunity to remind his fellow Pastors on the core mandate of the Ministry which he says: "it’s the duty of every true man of God to teach his members to do what's right but not too lead them astray".

Prophet Emmanuel Okyere trying to support his statement with the Bible quoted Ephesians 4:27-28 which says: "Do not give the devil an opportunity. The one who steals must steal no longer; rather he must labor, doing good with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with the one who has need".

He then questioned why then do some prophet and pastors create room for the devil to operate by giving lotto numbers to their congregation?

He stressed that "We shouldn't forget ourselves as Christians for the bible says in the book of 1Timothy 6:10 that, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evils. We should not allow ourselves for money to blind our eyes from our identity as Christians".

Prophet Emmanuel Okyere advised Ghanaians to be careful of miracles performed in the name of God by some of these “men of God” because these are all signs that signify that indeed the second coming of the lord is at hand and as that, the enemy is using every means to get souls for his kingdom.

Therefore as believers we must be careful of everything we do and make sure that whatever decision we take we are been led by the Holy Spirit because all things are lawful for humankind but not all things are helpful as the scripture states.
