Builsa district celebrates Independence Anniversary
The Builsa South District in the Upper East Region was not left out in the 62nd Independence Day celebrations, as citizens of the District came out in their numbers to commemorate the occasion.

For the first time in the history of the District, the occasion was used to award some hardworking and deserving teachers at the Primary, JHS and SHS level.
The District Chief Executive of the area, Daniel Kwame Gariba urged the people to embrace peace and work in unity to foster development in the area.
He ceased the opportunity to congratulate the awardees for their selfless service to the district, adding that “a well motivated teacher surely is a well lubricated machine poised to deliver effective teaching to our pupils and students who are our future leaders”
Other officials present at the occasion were the Presiding member of the assembly Richard Adjuik and his team of Assembly members and some Heads of Departments.
