The Chief of Sekyere Dumase calls for infrastructure development
The Chief of Sekyere Dumase, a community in the Ejura Municipality of Ashanti Region Nana Antwi Boasiako I has called on the government to consider them in its quest of executing infrastructure in the Ashanti Region.

The Chief explained that most of the road network in the area are full of potholes and it doesn't augur well for transportation in the area.
He continued that he had seen several phase lift of roads in the Ashanti Region but it baffles his mind why Ejura-Sekyeredumase was exempted, “but it is not too late the government should reconsider them”.
He also unveiled that, years back the area was known as the food basket of the nation therefore the government should adopt pragmatic measures to rekindle it to revamp agriculture in the area.
He stated this during the annual celebration of Brafie Festival.
During the event, the Chief honoured the MCE of the area, Salisu Bambah as the Nana Oseadieyo I of Sekyere Dumase Traditional Area for his remarkable contributions in the area.
