ASSIN C: Assin Foso Polyclinic receives medical equipment
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has donated some health delivery equipment to Assin Foso Polyclinic aiming at boosting health care delivery in the area.

The items which include microscope autoclave machines, blood bank refrigerator, 10 set of beds and chairs as well as refrigerators, baby Scale machines and other theater equipment and two Motorcycles to help ease the difficulty the facility goes through in discharging their official duty and movement to other nearby communities.

The outspoken Assin Central Lawmaker stated that "the donations form part of my initiated health support scheme to demonstrate my commitment to better health care delivery to the people of Assin Central Municipality in the Central Region”.

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong said aligned to this, the Akufo Addo government is poised to open the Assin Foso Nursing Training School in September this year which he advised the health personnel to take advantage and the opportunity to teach for extra income.

He also ceased the opportunity to commend the staff and officials of the directorate including the entire health practitioners in the municipality for their unflinching commitment to good health care delivery in the area and urged them to sustain it.



He promised a brand new pickup, a 40kv generator, air conditioners, incubator and other theater equipment to the municipal directorate to boast their operations.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the area Nicholas Kofi Baako, commended the legislator for the kind gesture and pledged the Assembly’s continues support to improve and sustain quality health care delivery and then advised the staff to relate well with the community members in the course of their work to help promote development.

Mr Asumadu, the Municipal Health Director receiving the equipment, expressed a profound appreciation to the MP for the support, which he describe as a timely intervention to help meet needs of the health directorate and people in the area.

He pledged good dedication of service from his directorate, staff and called on all stakeholders to support the course of health care delivery in the Municipality.
