NDA donates 12 tricycle ambulances

North East Regional Minister, Yidana Zakaria, has taken delivery of twelve (12) Tricycle Ambulances procured by Northern Development Authority (NDA), for distribution to all the six constituencies in the North East Region.

Speaking at a short ceremony, the Minister indicated that the tricycle ambulance comes in handy, adding that this will help augment the efforts of the Ambulance Service in the Region.

He added that the ambulances will help facilitate the provision of emergency medical services to patients, especially, in the hard-to-reach areas of the region.

Each Constituency, he explained, received two Ambulances to ensure quality health delivery.

Mr. Zakaria was elated to be joined by two elders from the Nayiri's Palace; Mba Tarana and Mba Maasu, and the Regional Director of Ghana Health Service, Dr. Abukari Abdulai, to hand them over to the Municipal/District Chief Executives.
