BUILSA S: Richard Awombadek re-elected PM
Presiding Member (PM) of the Builsa District Assembly, Mr. Richard Awombadek was on Friday November 3, 2017 re-elected by Assembly Members of the area to stir affairs of the assembly in the next four-year tenure.

He received 100 percent endorsement by Assembly members after going unopposed.

The election was conducted and strictly supervised by of the District Electoral Commission (EC).




The PM, after his landslide victory was sworn into office by the District's Magistrate Judge, Mr Joseph Baah Ansah.

Mr Awombadek, in his acceptance speech, thanked the assembly for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his preparedness and readiness to work hard to ensure development in the district.

He further promised to work collectively with all assembly members, irrespective of one’s political affiliation.




He also demanded for peace and unity among members in order to work together to deliberate on issues to help foster development in the district.

Some dignitaries who were present at the Assembly to observe the electoral process include Member of Parliament (PM), Dr Clement Apaak, District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Daniel Kwame Gariba and District Coordinating Director (DCD).
