Adansi South Assembly constructs two-unit classroom pavilion for New Edubiase D/A primary five and six

The two classroom pavilion of D/A primary five and six at New Edubiase was pulled down by a heavy rain storm recently hence the children and the teachers found it difficult to get a place to study before they went on vacation.

To solve the accommodation problem before school re-opens the DCE Hon. Francis Kwabena Ankomah and his Management decided to construct a new structure for the children and the teachers.

To enable the project to be completed on time, the project is being funded through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) under the emergency fund. The project is being fast tracked by the works department to enable the children to get a place to study when school re-opens.

The estimated cost of the project is GH?7,900.00.

In another development the Assembly is also renovating the Paediatric Ward of New Edubiase Government Hospital which has its roof blown off by a heavy rainstorm recently at a cost of GH?3,900.00.

The District Chief Executive Hon Francis Kwabena Ankomah visited the school and the hospital which were affected by the storm and promised to see to the early completion of the projects to bring relief to the school children and the children at the paediatric ward.

The DCE was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director Mr. William Meledi, Mr. Rutherford Osei the Planning Officer, Mr. George Tabri Bonsu the District Engineer and Mr. Owusu-Buahen the Deputy NADMO Coordinator.
