ASUOGYAMAN: Assembly supports district agric department
The Asuogyaman District Assembly has presented a brand new pick-up vehicle and seventeen (17) motorbikes to the district’s agriculture department to help enhance their activities.

Speaking at a short presentation ceremony, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Samuel Kwame Agyekum said that the presentation was in line with Government's initiative to modernize Agriculture in Ghana and further sustain an economic development and growth in the country.
He urged the department to use the vehicle and motorbike for their intended purpose of ensuring frequent monitoring of activities by farmers in the area.
He was optimistic that this will also foster the work of the Agric Extension Officers in their work to achieve food security by properly educating farmers with the requisite skills in the modern ways of agriculture.
