DCE urges Ghanaians to buy local rice
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Builsa South district, Mr Daniel kwame Gariba has call on Ghanaians to patronize rice that are produced in the country even as Christmas is fast approaching.

He revealed in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com that, the district recorded a bumper harvest of rice this year and therefore urged them to patronize the local rice instead of going in for the foreign ones.
According to him, purchasing local rice will alleviate poverty in the district and help improve the assembly’s Internal Generated Fund (IGF).
He stated that the district is also blessed with Shea butter, millet among others.
