JAMAN N: DCE urges youth to stay away from violence
The District Chief Executive of Jaman North District in the Bono Region on today 6th March, 2019 advised youth in his district to clearly stay away any kind of violence in other to keep the peaceful environment his district is currently enjoying.

The Hon. DCE (Adane Ankomah) made this notification during the 62nd Independent Day Celebration in the district capital, Sampa.

Among some of the issues he touched in his sessional address were education, health and security.

On Health, the DCE emphasized on some developmental projects he and the NPP government as well as the Assembly has done. He made mention of the installation of X-Ray centre at the Sampa government Hospital which is completed, construction of Doctors bangelow at the Suma Health Center, Construction of Maternity Block at Seketia and others in other communities.

On the issue of Education, the Hon. DCE (Adane Ankomah) also made mentioning of the construction Modern KG block complex at Sampa Islamic School, the construction of 6 unit classroom block at Kokoa Presbyterian School, the construction of 6 unit classroom block at Seketia Presbyterian school, provision of furniture for St. Senior High School and some basic schools in the district. He therefore mentioned the construction of teacher's bungalow at Adadiem and Bonakire respectively.



On the issue of security, the DCE congratulated the hard working efforts of the security personnel in the district of keeping peace and harmony in the district. He however judged them to keep on with their maximum to maintain the peaceful environment in the district.

Other areas he touched were the graving of Sampa market, reshaping of Sampa township roads, provision of potable water to some communities and the government effort of increasing the number of LEAP beneficiaries in the district.

He therefore ended his address by congratulating Nana Addo's led NPP government for number of projects initiated in the district.

Upon compilation and declaration of March pass results, Suma R/C Primary School took the 3rd placement, Sampa Methodist Primary took the 2nd position with Nipaba Brew Preparatory taking the 1st position.



At the JHS category, Nipaba Preparatory JHS emerged the winners in the 3rd position with NASEC MODEL School and Kasipe Memorial International School taking the 2nd and 1st positions respectively.

At the SHS category, St. Ann's Girls Senior High School was placed 3rd with NAFANA Presbyterian Senior High and Diamono Senior High also taking over the 2nd and 1st placement.

The first schools in all the sectors were presented with a trophy, football and and a set of jersey whiles those schools that took the 2nd and 3rd positions took home a set of jersey and a football all financed by the Assembly.
