Ejura Sekyedumase PWDs receive support from Assembly

As part of the agenda to transform the lives and living conditions of people living with disabilities (PWD's), the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly has distributed items to over 85 PWD's across the Municipality.

The items and cash which were disbursed based on the request and needs of the beneficiary include bags of cement, deep freezers, livestock, physical cash, and Checks for mobile money operations, educational support and health support, fufu pounding machines, hair drying machines, Agrochemicals and many more.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba distributing the live changing items to the people indicated that the move is in fulfillment of the government's responsibility to support and empower PWDs in the country to improve their livelihoods.

He then advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the items to improve upon their living condition and also encouraged the other applicants who were not selected to expect theirs in the next disbursement.

Alhaji Bamba used the occasion to commend the Social Welfare Department and the Fund Management Committee of the Assembly for the thorough work done in selecting the beneficiaries.
