Anum and Atimpoku communities to get modern toilet facilities
The District Chief Executive of Asuogyaman, Samuel Kwame Agyekum, has called on the chiefs and people of Anum and Atimpoku to eschew any form of negative attitudes that impede the progress and development of the community.

The DCE stated this during a sod cutting ceremony for work to begin on two separate toilet facilities at Anum and Atimpoku. The project is being funded by the Assembly in partnership with First Ghana Company Limited as part of their corporate social responsibility.

Addressing chiefs and people of community at separate durbars, the DCE was optimistic that facilities will help reduce open defecation in the area.



He revealed the Assembly short term plan to construct toilet facilities for communities that have been earmarked to create jobs for the teaming youth.

Mr. Agyekum disclosed that he was going to work closely with the Works department to make sure the contractor delivers quality work within the stipulated time. He reminded the contractor of the need to speed up work because of the rains, and never hesitate to seek for assistance when the need arises.

The DCE was accompanied by some Officials of members the Assembly.
