Mr James Atta Kakra Baidoe, Nzema East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has appealed to K2 Associates, contractors working on the 110 Km Agona-Nkwanta-Elubo dual carriage road, to sprinkle water on the facility to avoid excessive dust.

According to him, complaints received from communities along that stretch are disturbing hence the need for action to be taken to address those concerns.

Mr. Baidoe said this in an interview with Ghana News Agency when he inspected progress of work on the Western corridor road at Nyamebekyere in the municipality.

He commended the contractor for work done so far, but maintained that too much dust is posing health hazard to the nearby communities.

He said the situation is also leading to poor visibility, leading to accident.
