The Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu-Juaben in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Afrifa Yamoah Ponko has made it known that his assembly is very fumed by the trend of pornography act by children in the area.

The MCE has therefore urged members of the Assembly to collaborate with the police to embark on swoops at video centres to arrest children engaged in such act.

He said this after the Ejisu-Juaben Divisional Police command had arrested about 20 children between eight and twelve-years for illegally engaging in the acts at various video centres.

Meanwhile, those children were granted bail after the police had taken statements from them, together with their parents.

Available information to Ghanadistrcts.com also indicates that about ten parents have  been detained and will soon be prosecuted at the law court.
