The Eastern Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Stephen Andoh-Kwofie, has commended personnel in the region for their dedication to duty that had led to a reduction in the crime rate in the region.

The Eastern Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Stephen Andoh-Kwofie, has commended personnel in the region for their dedication to duty that had led to a reduction in the crime rate in the region.   

He said the Police had worked selflessly to reduce the crime rate and accidents in the region. 

DCOP Andoh-Kwofie, who was addressing a parade of officers and men of the Eastern Regional Police Command at Koforidua on Thursday, commended the media for supporting the Police to ensure law and order.   

He said since 1st December when the Police Command intensified its efforts, the number of road accidents in the region had reduced as compared to precious months.   

DCOP Andoh-Kwofie warned that despite the excellent performance any personnel who would break rules and regulations of the Police would not be spared and warned criminals that the Police would give them a tough time.
