The Assembly through the district assembly common fund has drilled 50 mechanized boreholes for the communities to help end their long plight of travelling long distances to access water, and in most cases from streams.

The District Chief Executive of the area, Ayinga Abagre Yakuba disclosed to Ghanadistricts.com in an interview that getting a good drinkable water has been a major constraints of the communities for a very long time; adding most of the people travel miles before getting water.

The development, he noted, was counterproductive to the economic lives of the people. The boreholes will therefore ensure easy access to water and offer the people ample time to engage in other productive works for economic transformation.

Among the beneficiary communities are Binduri Town, Bakanga, Sarabogo, Bankango, Bazua, Sakpare, Tinnorgo, Ahisi, Asanore, Narango, Nayoko. No_ 1, Sinkua, and Bansi central.

The rest are Barigua, Vako, Kaadi, Zua - Tempelin, Yarigungu, Bansi ovimary, Zaago No_1, Zawge Sakpari Natinga, Nyodelinga, Kpatarugu and among others.
