DCE presents furniture to schools
The Asante Akyem North District Chief Executive, Mr. Francis Oti Boateng has handed over 500 dual desks and 200 mono desks to the District Education Directorate for distribution to 21 schools within his jurisdiction to ease congestion and facilitate effective teaching and learning in schools.

According to the DCE, this donation became necessary due to the numerous calls and appeals from some head-teachers and the educational authorities when he toured communities within his jurisdiction.

"To help government to fulfill his Ghana beyond Aid agenda by providing the desire quality education, a total of 1500 furniture will be provided of which the *700* desks he has presented today forms part of the first phase of the distribution," he emphasized.



Upon his immense contributions to the development of education in his district, Mr. Oti pledged his readiness to expending more of the Assembly’s resources in providing facilities like infrastructure, teaching and learning materials among others to ensure quality education and to produce quality human resources for the nation’s development.



The District Director of Education, Mr. Ernest Kwadwo Afari, commended the DCE and the Assembly for their constant support to education in the District.
