70% of funds goes waste on dev't projects at the district levels - Dery
The Project Officer for Access to Life Foundation, Mr Number Dery has revealed that about 70% of funds on developmental projects at the district level goes waste due to inadequate proper supervision by the assembly technocrats and community stakeholders.

He explained further that, some consultations are needed to be made before execution of projects to ginger the beneficiary communities to develop much interest on such projects to ensure continues supervision which would eventually yield to value for money.
According to him his organization is embarking on a sensitization program to empower communities to remain vigilant whenever a project is being carried out in their vicinity.
He brought forth this during interactions with Omono Asamoah in an event dubbed "Ghana Strengthening Accountability Mechanism Project" at Nsuta the heart of Sekyere Central District.
