Residents laud gov’t over road project
Residents of Agogo Nsonyameye, a community in the Asante Akim North District, have expressed their appreciation to the NPP-government and the Assembly for that matter for the ongoing construction of a major access road connecting the communities to other neighboring towns.

They noted that the project, which is the first of its kind in the community, would tremendously improve the living standards of the people and also enhance socio-economic activities in the area.

Some dignitaries including, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr. Francis Oti Boateng, District Coordinating Director (DCD) and other Assembly officials were at the scene to inspect the ongoing project which commenced in the early hours of today.


Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Nana Oduro Frikyi, chief of the community lauded the government for the project. According to him, the project serves as a great relief to the people since current state of road posed serious danger to communities and motorist who ply the road.

He was optimistic that the project, when completed will help ease the numerous developmental problems that is currently facing residents, adding that the project will also pave way for other developmental projects in the area.


The Chief also took the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to the DCE and MP for a good work done.

“ let me use this opportunity to register my heart-felt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the DCE and MP, Mr Andy Appiah-Kubi for their positive transformation in the area”, he added.
