BIBIANI: MCE tours communities
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, Alfred Amoah has assured residents that the government is doing a lot to improve the living condition of people in the country.

According to him, government’s programmes and policies including free senior high school policy, Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), planting for food and jobs programme, introduction of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCOP), among other initiatives are to help improve avenues for jobs, and reduce poverty.

Mr. Alfred Amoah who was addressing various communities as part of his community tour therefore urged the people, particularly the youth to embrace these initiatives and avail themselves to benefit from them in order to better their lives.


His tour took him to Nzamankanta, Bassangelle, Mmframakrom, Ahiokrom, Apokyefrom, Surano and Chirano.

Most of the communities appealed for improvement in their basic social infrastructure including improved toilet facilities, more streetlights, establishment of clinics, improved roads, water among others that will go a long way to better their lives.

Meanwhile, the MCE assured the people of efforts the Assembly in collaboration with the government is taking to resolve some of their challenges and appealed to them to exercise some restraints adding some of these interventions will take sometime to materialize.
