ASUOGYAMAN: Assembly re-awards 4 projects on contract

The Asuogyaman District Assembly has re-awarded four projects which were abandoned by the previous government to new contractors for completion.

They include three separate six-unit classroom blocks with offices and staff common rooms at Sedrom, Anyaase and Senchi Methodist and a Teachers Quarters at Sedorm.

This was disclosed by District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Area, Mr Samuel Kwame Agyekum at the Assembly’s Ordinary meeting held at Atimpoku, the District capital.

He said the situation where projects started by one government are left unattended to by succeeding government was over since the government was determined to complete all ongoing projects started by the NDC administration.

According to him, the President has directed that all Metropolitan Municipal District Assemblies (MMDAs) to follow the directive before initiating new projects.
