GOMOA W: Akropong CHPs to cost GHs 149,572
The Gomoa West District Assembly in the Central region is putting up a new Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Akropong, a farming community in the district, at the cost of GHs 149,572.

The facility, which was finance from the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), is expected to improve the health of the people by providing the community with important access to quality healthcare.

 

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Bismark Nkum who disclosed this to Ghanadistricts.com said that, the assembly would ensure that the project is completed on time to help bring healthcare to the doorsteps of the people.

 

He urged the contractors, “Axiles Company Ltd”, to work hard not only to ensure that the project completed on time to meet the scheduled deadline.

 

According to Mr. Nkum, the NPP government was determination to improve the health needs of the people, especially those in rural communities, by constructing more CHPs compounds to match the growing population.
