Ashanti Development builds KG block for Brofoyeduru Community

Ashanti Development, a non-governmental organization based in the United Kingdom has constructed a new kindergarten block worth GHS90.000.00 for Brofoyeduru Community in the Ashanti Mampong Municipality.

Brofoyeduru is one of the communities in the Ashanti Mampong municipality and for years they a befitting classroom block to accommodate the kindergarten pupils remained their nightmare.

It was therefore welcoming when the NGO, Ashanti Development intervened to relieve the community of that problem by putting up a modern classroom block for the pupils.

Speaking to the Country Director for Ashanti Development, Mr Nicholas Aboagye Peprah explained that, the stakeholders of education in the Brofoyeduru Community tabled their challenge before them and upon their financial assessment they realized that their financial capacity was stronger to cater for the cost in putting up the facility.

Mr Nicholas finally urged them to adopt the culture of maintenance to provide long life span of the project.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Ashanti Mampong Hon Thomas Appiah Kubi acknowledge the efforts of the NGO as marvelous in their quest of elevating educational standard in the area.

He continued that the government has decided to tailor any means that would help raise the bar in education yet the efforts of NGOs and other corporate organizations would still be needed therefore all should rally behind the government.
