OFFINSO N: Second batch of PwDs receive funds

The District Chief Executive of Offinso North Assembly, David Kwasi Asare Boakye has advised persons with disabilities (PWDs) to work hard to improve their standard of living.

The meeting which took place at the forecourt of the Assembly to disburse the second batch of the PwD fund was well attended by the beneficiaries.

The DCE indicated that the first batch has been disbursed, and it is now the turn of the second batch to also benefit from the funds in order to curb the poor living standards of persons with disabilities and better their lives.

Mr. Asare Boakye added that the PwDs were presented with items such as; sewing machines, popcorn machines, fridge, fufu pounding machines, wheel chairs among others.

He said that the items were given to them in order to improve their standard of living by entering into entrepreneurship.

The chairman of the PwDs, Paul Kwabena Fosu on behalf of them expressed his profound gratitude to the president of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo, MP and DCE for the new initiative.
