Christmas is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon.

Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion.
Christmas is also a time of celebration and a time of reflection.
Looking back at the past 12 months, I have no doubt that it has been a busy time for all of us. The year 2017 was a year of rebuilding the Techiman North district and I can say without doubt that we have all contributed in one way or the other towards this direction.
I am deeply convinced that better days lie ahead of us as we embark on a journey to surmount our challenges.
I extend my warmest greetings for a happy Christmas to all Christians who are devoted heirs of this magnificent universal festivity.
May the silver bells of such sincere beliefs be heard all over the world this Christmas!
Wishing all Christians in Techiman North and around the world a merry Christmas filled with joy and prosperity.
