KADJEBI: DCE emphasizes need to improve IGF collection
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Kadjebi in the Volta Region, Mr Maxwell Kofi Asiedu, has emphasized the need for the Assembly to raise enough Internally Generated Funds (IGF) to help carry out their development projects and improve livelihoods.

According to him, the assembly as at 31 October, 2016 only mobilized GHs 294,433.71, representing 76.46% of the GHs 225,202.19 projected revenue.


He said expenditure for same the same period was set at GHs 294, 433.71 of which an amount of GHs 227,899.01, representing 77.40 percent was spent by the assembly on various projects and initiatives.


The DCE, who disclosed this when addressing the Chiefs and Elders of Ahumansu, Ampeyo and Pampawie communities during his familiarization and thank you tour to the district, thus appealed to the people to support the assembly’s efforts and actions to help explore more opportunities to further boost IGF levels of the Assembly.


He said in spite of that, the assembly had also put measures in place to improve revenue collection in the district to support development.
