MCE inspects ongoing Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive of Asante Akim South Municipal, Mr. Alexander Frimpong has embarked on a tour of the municipality to inspect some ongoing projects within the municipality.

The tour was to afford the MCE an opportunity to have firsthand information about the various stages of these projects and other abandoned projects in the area.

Among the numerous projects visited by the MCE include the construction of a Police station and the Ofoase Senior High Technical School which is a GMPC project.

The MCE, who expressed satisfaction over the level of work done on the projects, however, urged constructors to speed up the project serve their intended purposes but should also ensure value for money.

Mr Frimpong and his team also visited the Ofoase M/A and Presby basic schools where he distributed school bags to the KG pupils. The pupils expressed their joy and thanked the MCE for the gesture.

He assured that assembly will step up efforts to finish uncompleted projects initiated by the past government.

Mr. Alex Frimpong was accompanied by Dept Municipal works Engineer, Dept Planning Office, among others.
