Adaklu DCE hopeful of accelerated growth of the district

Mr. Kadey Phanuel Donkor, District Chief Executive for Adaklu said he is encouraged and optimistic that their quest to ensure accelerated development of the district would be achieved.

Mr Donkor added that even at the district’s young age of five since its creation, the District has seen phenomenal improvement in every sector of the economy.

The DCE who was addressing the gathering of chiefs and people, and farmers at this year’s 33rd commemoration of Farmers’ Day said currently the Adaklu district is benefiting from a lot of interventions including but not limited to;

Rural Electrification in 25 communities in Adaklu
Construction of Fire Service Appliance Bay at Waya
Free SHS
Expansion of the School-Feeding Programme in Adaklu.
Plans to establish NHIS District Office in Waya
One District One Factory (ethanol production)
Opening of NCCE District office at Waya
Opening of Adult Education office at Waya

He commended all those who played significant roles in the achievements so far including his predecessor; and promised to do more to improve the fortunes of the district.

He has however called on the citizens of Adaklu to embrace and take advantage of the various policy initiatives by the government to make sure they also benefit from the good things embedded in those programmes.
