MCE commissions toilet facility at Woe

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Keta Mr. Seth Yormewu has commissioned a ten seater toilet facility for the people of Woe.

Speaking at a short but colourful ceremony to officially commission the project, the MCE mentioned how the community has been in dire need of toilet facility for over decades adding that the facility is for the whole community and others who would desire to use it, and therefore, should not be given any political relation.

Mr. Yormewu said, his desire had always been to be able to improve the lives of Woe and the municipality at large and appealed to the community to come together and win the fight against open defecation menace in the municipality.

He therefore urged the community to see the project as their bona fide property and take good care of it, so as to prolong its lifespan.

He noted that the current government is on course to construct more toilet facilities across the country most especially communities along the coast to ease the open defecation.
